Hey I guess you have got all it takes to start working, you’ve studied, and you’ve the ability and ambition to work.  But each time you try to apply, experience is what is required. You wonder why on earth do the need experience and where to get experience. In this article I have pointed out a list of where and how to get the experience employers get to demoralize you of.

Contract jobs: This is so common in the legal field today. As a contract worker you are not an employee of a company but you are an independent contract worker hired to do some specific job just for a short term. All you need is to know what you are after, so when such contracts come i would say do not turn them down because you feel like working for a company fully, this will help you in securing job next time you apply for a job because by then you will be experienced.

Ask for more work: don’t be lazy; you need to work very hard in order to attain some things in life. So don’t feel lazy to do extra work, ask your boss for more as you know in life the more you do something the perfect you become, with it you will gain experience automatically. Next time in an interview you can be able to tell the boss what you’ve been doing previously while if given the chance to do it practically, you’ll definitely know what to do.

Voluntary work: involve yourself in voluntary work, in fact this voluntary thing am talking about now is one of the chances that you shouldn’t let pass by when it comes across, why? Because it takes nothing, I mean you don’t have to bribe, there is no competition as people need something that pays at last you walk out with that experience. This experience you get in the voluntary work you’ve done is what shall help you to get that job which has much competition.

Internship: internship system is one of the ways of getting experience for job, you may be wondering where to find this internship I am talking of, this is usually found in corporations, banks, non-profit organizations, in governmental offices and other businesses. Though you might refuse this system, but I guarantee you what you want you will get, that’s the experience.

Extracurricular activities: this is taken by those that are still studying. Extracurricular activities provides you with experience that prepares you ready for employers therefore if you were that kind that thinks extracurricular activities take your time then you were wrong, when it comes again remember this point and take advantage of it.

Experience is something that makes us keep on wondering, “Now if they need experience why don’t they rather teach experience instead of skill.” This article has made us understand skill somehow needs to be taught, where as experience is acquirable even if you you’ve never worked before as a full time employee.
